Body mount crack

I bought my 97 tacoma with a 3 inch body lift not knowing much about them. After doing research I learned about some of the disadvantages of them.

Recently I found cracks and rust under my body where the body lift puck meets the body on the right and left side directly aft of the forward wheel well. Before my pucks break through the floor I would like to fix the problem and was wondering if anyone has ever done so and the best way to do it.

I know body lifts suck, and I would love to rid myself of it, but I have 33s and they rub now which is why I am going to be buying some bilstein 5100. I can't afford to remove the body lift and install a 6 inch suspension lift though I would love to.

anyway, any suggestions would help. thanks

Isn't there any way I could weld a plate between the puck and body?
just small cracks and light rust on the driver side. I can see a shallow indent (less than a few mm) on both sides. It looks like it is double layered metal because I can't see cracks on the inside of the cab
You might want to try searching body drops on here and find out good ways to make inner fender clearance. When a body drop is done the cab mounts get cut and have to be re-welded. If you have damage that you are concerned about you could cut out the problem areas and weld in some better steel. I bet a body lift is really easily roughed up because of all the extreme 4x4ing so look for anywhere that could use beefing up. Finding scrap metal and a bit of sledgehammer work is definetly cheaper than a 6" lift.
