I currently have a 97 4 runner front bumper I'm looking to put on my 98 taco and I want to know what brackets I need to use to mount it up

The usual way it's done is to use your Tacoma mounting brackets and drill new bolt holes to match the bolt spacing on the 4Runner bumper.

Some have said it can be done in the opposite direction - using the 4Runner brackets and drilling them to match the Taco bolt spacing.

Check the 4Runner parts diagram in this thread:


... to check what 4Runner parts may be necessary if you're going to use 4Runner brackets or maybe just to see how things are supposed to connect to each other.
