i just baught another taco. a wrecked taco. all the cab mounts busted up through the floor from the accident because of the hokey ass botd lift id had. so i need to rebuind the floor. and what i need is pictures of the gap in between the frame and cab. or even just the measurements of the four corners so i can begin the rebuild. thanx in advance.

I didn't know Tacos came with the 2.4L and 4wd. I thought they were all 2.7L or 3.4L.
maybe he's calling a pre taco a taco because in 95 you could get a 95 pre taco or a 95.5 Tacoma..
You better clear things up syktaco. What model is it Taco or pre Taco. Extra cab or reg cab. I can help you if it is an extra cab 2wd pre Taco.
sry guys im used to my 2.4 in my pre now:doah:. but no its a ex cab taco 2rz 4x4. but the body mounts will be the same on an ex cab 2wd.
if its a factory 4x4 tacoma, its a 3rz 2.7 ;)
I'm still a little unclear on what you need, syktaco ...

Would frame dimensions showing the cab mounting hole locations be of any help?

OK - I see now ... Thanks ...

Was the lift done with a kit? If so - I'm not sure there's a way to determine the correct elevation measurements without having someone with the same kit (or maybe the same amount of lift) measure their setup.

im removing the lift. it was only some cheep ars 2 inch plastic spacers. im bringing the body back to factory height. i got my buddy bringing his 96 taco to my shop tonight so i should be good. thanx guys
Lucky. I wish I had a close by buddy with a Tacoma like me. 2wd 1st 2nd and 3rd gen are rare around here.
