I've been researching the forum and I am trying to find out the best gap to run on my 1 step colder ngk spark plugs.

I've seen guys setting them anywhere from .024-.031 for turbo trucks. Right now I am sitting @ 7psi making 233hp/269tq. Any reccommendations???

Are you having issues with the plugs? Have you tried indexing them with the strap facing the injector?
I'm running around 0.028" on my NGK iridiums 1 step colder. Before I had a NGK 1 step regular like plug but had to run around 0.024" , anything larger and it'd blow out at the top end.

i used to run mine at 0.023'' but basically you technically want to run them as wide as you can without deting or blowing out the spark..:waytogo:

Thanks guys. I gapped them at .024. I tried gapping them at .030 and it ran like crap. But what could go wrong with running them tight?
Carbon build up could go wrong running them too tight if you're rich...just pull them every now and then and monitor them for that. Also, if you have an extra hour to play around under the hood look up how to index the plugs, it's easy. Basically shim the plugs so the open part of the electrode is faced away from the fuel injectors direct spray.

Mines at .030 with NGK BKR7E-II @ 8 PSI.

What do you mean run like crap? Did it lean out at WOT? I might gap them smaller then.
