2003 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, 12,500 obo
FIRST THE BAD: The previous owner backed into a fence post on the farm and got it bondoed to fix. What do you know, a month after I bought it I backed into a small tree in the same spot. Well thats it. See photo.
THE GOODS: 3.4 liter v-6, 5 speed manual 119,000 miles. Truck has front Fabtech 6" lift on 35' Mickey Thompson baja mtz tires. Front struts are 2 months old. The front end has Warn manual locking hubs. The rear suspension has NO BLOCKS; Downey 4" leaf springs with extended shackle, and Bilstein 5150 shocks. All rear suspension was installed last summer. Truck sits about level. Has All Pro Offroad rear disc brake conversion, Chevy 1 ton master cylinder conversion, and adjustable proportioning valve. The rear end has 4.56 gears but never got around to doing the front end. I can switch out the rear 3rd member to stock 4.10 if wanted, but it pulls way harder with the 4.56. Truck has ARB front bumper with two Hella 500 off road lights. The front corner and headlights are aftermarket. On the interior it has an Alpine ida-x100 head unit with ipod cable. Thats it for after market.
FEATURES AND MAINTENANCE: The truck is fully loaded with cruise control, keyless entry, power locks, windows, and mirrors. A/C was serviced last summer and heat works awesome. Also has locking rear differential. I have used Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil in the engine. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles. The gear oil was just changed in the tranny using Mobil 1 oil. The clutch was changed in December, one of the o2 sensors was changed in January. I replaced the timing belt and water pump at 100,000 miles and replaced the plugs and wires on 17 Feb. Had the front end aligned on 23 Feb. Interior is very clean. No stains on the carpet or seats, all gauges and lights work. No cracks in wind shield. The truck doesn't leak any oil at all. Runs like a champ.
