I just acquired a 95 Tacoma and the previous owner wasn't sure what was wrong but he suspected the transfer case was out.

The truck starts and runs fine and goes in all gears but no movement, even using the 4H 4L on the Tcase.
The clutch seems like its too close to the floor but there is resistance.

What would you gentlemen check before dropping the transmission?

Thanks

Edit: I tried bleeding the clutch but only got a little bit of fluid before it went to nothing.

Found the culprit, Slave cylinder was stuck open and rusted. New Slave and Master Cylinder will be installed soon.

All fixed, new master and slave cylinder was the issue.
Good to hear you got it resolved.

PS, this forum is dead.
I won't argue with that ...

Sorry you didn't get any timely responses. Your initial posting occurred while I was out of town / out of touch, and by the time I returned you'd posted to report you'd found the problem.
