05+ fuel filter change

I got my repair manual today and there is not one thing in there about changing the fuel filter. Guess you don't have to change the fuel filter in the new Tacos :looney:Anyone change their fuel filter in their 2.7L yet? Or even in your V6? I know some cars there is a small procedure to changing it (relieving pressure). And where is the filter located? I don't remember seeing it on the inside of the frame (where it usually is) when I was under there today. I'll check again tomorrow. In the manual there is a picture of the engine with the intake manifold off and what looks like it could be is the fuel filter bolted to the block directly under where the intake mani bolts up. If that is it, that is a really odd place to put the fuel filter.

O'rlly?! I had feeling the only fuel filter is the strainer attached to the pump in the tank. Good thing I run a fuel system cleaner religiously. Thanks for the heads up!
careful about running "fuel system cleaner". used to do taht all the time on my SS camaro, at 32k the plugs (changed) were ORANGE!!! most quality fuel has cleaning agents in it... all that is really needed.
