On February 9, 2006 Toyota will stage the world premiere of the all-new 2007 Toyota Tundra.

The Toyota Tundra was first introduced in 1999 as a 2000 model. Since then, it has won numerous awards and has been recognized for its value, quality and reliability. The completely redesigned 2007 Tundra will be bigger, more powerful and will offer new body and engine configurations. This all-new Tundra will be built in America at both Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Indiana and the new San Antonio,Texas plants.

The press conference will be held on Thursday, February 9 at 9:00 AM in the Grand Ballroom in McCormick Place and simulcast live to the Toyota display area at the show. A video clip of the press conference will be available for viewing following the event on the Toyota.com website.

It is expected that the new Tundra will be available with at least two powerplants, one possibly being a gas/electric hybrid version.

Ugly, would look better with a freestyle whitewater kayak in the stern of the truck.

this is not the new Tundra, this is a concept truck called the FTX made as a kind of teaser for the new Tundra. the new Tundra can be seen at toyota.com and will be released early 2007. Engine choices will be the 4.0 Liter V6 and two V8's, the standard 4.7 Liter available now and a new 5.7 Liter. The picture on toyota.com is not the double cab, it is the replacement for the acces cab, the double cab will be bigger, about the size of the dodge ram mega cab.
