Re: Noise from seat

I remember reading something about the handle/spring that allows the seat to fold and is located on the right side of the passenger seat behind the plastic.
The fix - apply some of grease to cushion the spring from vibrating and reaply the plastic cover.

Re: Noise from seat

I have since wrapped up that hinge piece which doesnt make noise anymore. But I still get a pretty bad rattle coming from the passenger seat-belt anchor assembly. Someone had mentioned it the above thread....wondering if anyone had fixed this yet? And what was that one guy talking about "the parts for the seat rattle"? To my knowledge there hasnt been any TSB or anything of the sort for this problem yet....anyway......

That damn seatbelt rattle is annoying....

Thumbs up Re: X-Runner: Passenger Seat Rattle / Noise

Thanks or showing me what is creating that ANNOYING sound. My Tacoma is 2015, only 45 days old, and started doing it 30 days ago. Toyota dealer alleged it was a "common" sound because here in Puerto Rico all streets are in very bad shape. I'm not going to waste my time fighting again with that guys, DIY will be my choice. Thanks again, that seat rattle is making me crazy.
