Old Tires Equals Hard Ride

I have a 1996 Taco lowered 3 inches. Bought it that way. Jittery bumpy ride. Seriously considered putting it back to stock. Then, one day, I spun 360 degrees at only 30 miles per hour in a turn. My mechanic said to check tires. Even though they had plenty of tread, they were from 1995! Hard as a rock. Put on new Bridgestones and it rides fine.
