best i could do.. unless someone else chimes in... imo i wouldnt paint them... powdercoating takes time.. and your left without a vehicle on wheels for awhile.. plus if u ever wanted to sell it stock the person might not like the "painted" wheels...

I say yeah paint them black, duplicolor makes new paint in can that u can spray ur wheels, plus there is also a duraclear for em too, u can also use VHT brand paint, its durable and can withstand high temperatures.

Which wheels do you have? Just regular spray paint will last for a little while and would be relatively easy to touch up.

But powdercoating is really durable, it just costs more and it will take longer to prep. I had a dirtbike frame powder coated and I could scrape it with a razor blade and it didnt want to go all the way through.

Regardless of how much paint you put on it will come off alot easier then powdercoating. Maybe try paint and if you dont like how it holds up throw down for mediablasting and powdercoating.
