Nissan Readies 05 Frontier With Toyota on the verge of announcing the completely redesigned 2005 Tacoma line-up, Nissan appears to be close to unveiling the 2005 Frontier series.
Aesthetically, the front end of the new Frontier carries a strong resemblance to its larger sibling, the Nissan Titan. It also has some of the more popular Titan features, including a railed bed tie-down system and a fully boxed frame. August 09, 2004 REAL 05 4x4 Photos Surface The first REAL 2005 4x4 Tacoma photos have surfaced and are currently circulating throughout the Internet. The photos first appeared on TundraSolutions' discussion forum earlier today and included two photos of what appears to be a red 2005 Double Cab Tacoma. Tacoma Territory members have suggested that this latest photo closely resembles the truck that Toyota showed off at TTORA's annual gathering in California last month. Photos of the truck from that event have not surfaced online at the request of Toyota. So, without further ado, here are the photos:

Reports around the web indicate that the all new Frontier will have a new 4.0L V6 with 265hp and 284ft.lbs of torque. It utilizes the same VQ powerplant used in the 350Z, Maxima, Altima, Murano and Quest.
