You've got to know how each of them makes power. Each has its own limitations, and at the same time, each of them have different power numbres. IMO, turbo is the way to go, but I'm sure there are plenty that could argue the otherway around. So lets get to discussing!

supercharged sounds badass on trucks, but i would definitely go turbo simply because you can always change the boost for more power if you want and it's more efficient. then again, superchargers are instantaneous horsepower and torque for ya.

yea but with such low rpm limits it really doesnt have too bad of lag....plus the URD s/c is essentially a turbo in disguise

A turbo has the ability to produce more power across the entire rpm range than any roots or centrifical supercharger. With that said.....Turbo>Supercharger

kind of, but not really. let say 8psi, when the engine hits max rpm the rotary s/c its making the 8psi. when you shift the psi drops down and you work your way back up. as soon as the turbo spools its at 8psi no matter where the rpm is at (after spool). therefor a turbo will out preform the s/c

in my opinion the turbos beat your motor more than the s/c but i guess thats the price you pay to have power

The turbo will definitely beat up the engine but I love working on cars so its not that big of a deal to me. The power gains are worth it. Then after about 50000 miles Ill just take the engine and turbo out and have them both overhauled. Ill be sure to put high compression pistons and other turbo compatible goodies in too.
