raising the gas tank?

Hey everyone, i'm new to the scene and have a taco in the werks. i am wanting to keep my gas tank under the truck and am wondering if anyone has just raised their tank keeping it in the stock location? when i lay the truck out my tank is hitting the ground, and i'm not wanting to put it in the bed....any ideas? thanks.

...i had a sonoma and they sold a raised gastank crossmember that replaced the factory crossmember...not sure if they sell the same thing for tacos or not

No it's not a bolt in xmember.

W/ the tacomas you can drill some holes higher up on the xmember mount for the pins that secure your straps. That's a way to raise it.

its 4 linked, and yeah its just got the straps....so just drill the holes higher and move the straps....sounds easy enough, thanks. fuel cell would be nice, but my effing dogs just ate my neighbors cat now i gotta pay the vet bills, or get sued.....good times....................damn cats.
