Default New X-Runner & New to the Board

Greetings gentleman!

Just thought I'd say hello and get a feel for the Toyota forum community.
I've recently purchased a new red '06 X-Runner, and so far I'm pretty impressed. Fit and finish is real nice, it's comfortable, and it leaves respectable rubber on the asphalt.

I assume there are "immediate have-to-do's" that all you guys already know about, so feel free to add your $0.02 and steer me in the right direction.

I've been reading through a good deal of the posts and you guys really have some sweet rides!

Underdog Racing (urdusa.com) sells a Short Shifter (SS) for our trucks...
Makes it like we are no longer rowing a boat.

Is it just the short throw, or does it also come with a bushing kit too? Yeah, the shifter is pretty sloppy. I was going to crack out the welder and retro-fit a Hurst shifter that I had laying around. $139 ain't bad. The side to side slop sucks though.
