Thumbs up kumho ecsta asx (GREAT VALUE)

just got a set of these in 215/35/18 and i love em, they ride really nice, look fantastic ,much higher treadwear (420) and they are not directional, so you can actually rotate your tires like normal, great tread pattern and water channeling, i am very happy with them, almost impossible to find a great, high treadwear, non-directional all weather tire in 18"+..... so for you other guys that roll your trucks daily and spend a ton of $$ goin through tires, these are a great option for a set of good tires that will last ya for quite a while longer than your average 18" tire, the inner treadblock design looks like it's built to hold up to neg camber a little better too

I got my set of 4, with the roadhazard protection (1yr %100 replacement, then 2yrs prorated replacement value) delivered (2days after ordered) ALL for $478 from tirerack.com

OH, and tirerack.com now lets you decline entering vehicle specific information when ordering tires , so they will no longer tell you that you can't order those tires for your truck

I got these for my wife when we got her wheels over a year ago. I have been impresssed with the wear and wet weather traction (the little we have here )

Thanx for the review!...

I've been considering Ecsta ASX's as the soles for a new shoes project that's in the works....

Have you noticed any difference in corner handling? The one complaint I've found on the Ecsta ASX's is that they have more 'give' in the sidewall and provide less precise corner stability than similar high-performance all-season tires...

I got the same tires for my new rims from Carrols Tire Warehouse for about the same price as tirerack. I have 225/40-18. They are good so far.

no, i haven't noticed any reduction in handling, then again i went to a lower profile when i changed tires too, went from a 40 to a 35, so that probably stiffened the sidewall a little more too....just took the truck to tampa and back over the weekend, tires performed wonderfully...i really like em a lot, very grippy for the mich higher treadwear rating, haven't notcied any less traction or grab on the road when taking off or braking
