Question 22" Rims?

thinking of going with 22's now, not 20's. there simply is not any wide tires for 20's with out going huge in diameter. my question is, will a 295/25/22 fit decent on a 9.5 rim? going to a 10 means 3 peice, which means another 5 pounds a rim. the 9.5 only weighs 30lbs, same as stock rim. its only .8 taller tire, so i really shouldnt be too far off from stock- is this doable?

DO they even make a 295/25/22?????? I've never seen them......ever.

I like DMC's set up for 22's. As for a 295.....I think it would look fine on a 9.5" wheel.

Edit: I guess they do.....Pirelli P Zeros.......wow!!!!

yes they make a 295/25/22. rare tho, and expensive as hell. run about 400 ish a tire. dmc set up is nice, but i dont want a tire that tall, i just spend 2k in brakes, i want them to work still!

Man those are some expensive mo fo's!!!! I think you should go 22x8.5 in the front and 22x10 in the rear. Nitto makes a nice tire in a 295/30/22 that is about 3/10" shorter then DMC's 265/35/22's. You have to think about replacement of those tires if you get them 295/25's. Thats just nutts.

But then again if you do the different sizes like a mentioned up above...then you gotta think about not being able to rotate them puppies.

Obviously you are building it right, I just think that is gonna be to small of a sidewall.....might ride like azz.

If your worried about performance loss from a taller tire.......For the cost difference of those 25 series versus the 30's I mentioned.....you could gear your truck properly. This way you loose nothing as it pertains to performance. $400 + is just insane for tires.....and you know there wear rating is gonna suck ass. If you wanna pick someones brain about tires....I can get you boostedtacos # (Eric) He knows a thing or two about tires.....haha

maybe i will do that when i am ready to buy. right now i have just saved enough, and i dont want to go back to broke ass mofo again already. i could regear, and prob will anyways, but rubbing is an issue with that tall of a tire. also, thats more rotational mass, which i dont want either. cant i just order some custom tires
