So you are running the Ipod straight to the amps? Or are you doing a aux in to your deck?

I'ts the IPOD2CAR by Peripheral Electronics it just plugs into the cd changer
port on the back of the factory head unit. You can skip forward and backwards
through playlists using the controls on the factory head unit and it also keeps
the IPOD charged.The sound is great way better than any FM transmitter.You can read more about on their website.

awesome job man! nicely integrated. one suggestion...maybe try matching vinyl rather than carpet on your box and amp rack?

some lows will be a 10", an 8" will get you a bit

Still, I'd say it's awesome... Since it's mounted in cab, the sound shouldn't be bad at all... Especially since it's properly powered...

Remember, it's the size of the woofer, but the encloser is the other 50%... If you have a speaker too big without the proper enclosure, you'll get crappy sound compared to good decent sound with a smaller unit...

Vinal wouldn't be a bad suggestion... however, how often do you show people anyways?

i just got an 05' tacoma acces cab prerunner...can you fit 6.5 inch component speakers in the front doors? if so, where did you mount your tweeter?
