Default spray liner or bedrug?

I'm not sure what to get. A spray liner which is permanent and over $400 or a bedrug which not permanent and under $400. My taco is the lunar mist color and a gray bedrug i think would look nice in there. But with a spray liner i know i get more protection and they can go over the rail. Would like to hear from people who have a bedrug and tell me what they don't like about it. Is it easy to spray dirt out of it? I motocross and get dirt and gas in my bed as it is. I like the looks of the rug and the protection and ruggedness of a spray.

I'm doing both. Once my turbo is done (or maybe sooner) I'm going to line-x the bed and drop in a bedrug.

That's a pretty good idea Brett. Kinda expensive but at least you'll have the best of both worlds. As for my opinion, I think you should get a spray-on bedliner. Since you will be putting some dirty stuff in your bed. Get LINE-X brotha! Can't go wrong with that.

I don't know much (ok anything) about rugs but I've never had a second thought about my spray in liner. It's worth every cent. And that's one of my two cents.

I had my 2003 double cab done with the Line-X spray liner last year.
I also got a killer deal on ebay for a bedrug about a month ago for
150 bucks. Couldn't resist it. The bed rugs usually have a street
price of around 350 bucks.

My uncle, my grandfather, and my dad have a Line-X. I have a BedRug. The Line-X's look great when they are new but my grandfather's is a few years old now and is fading pieces are flaking off. Now he can take it in and get it resprayed for free. My BedRug is sweet, it smooths out the bumps in the bottom of the bed. Really it depends on what you plan on throwing in the bed. I wouldn't recommend a BedRug to anyone that hauls anything heavy and sharp as you could peirce it. Other than that I love it.

well, i work at a car wash and i can tell you with the bed rugs we get, they stay dirty all the time. its really crappy carpet that everything gets stuck in. if you are going to be using your bed for anything at all, get a spray in.

if you've got an open bed at all... go with a spray in. if you have a tonneau or camper shell, then think about how you use your bed, then decide whether or not to get bedrug or line-x.

i wish i could do both and have the best of both worlds but i can't. i hear the bedrug is good if u haul jet ski's, but i haul dirt bikes. i really like the look of the rug, but looks like line-x might be best for hauling bikes. does line-x have a gray spray? down by the bay or in the hay that sounds pretty gay!!! LOL

line-x can color-match to pretty much anything. So you could match it red to your truck, if you really wanted. It costs a couple bucks more, but i think it looks awsome
