Default newest 7th injection kit?

well i guess i'm getting the newest 7th injection kit that was just released for tacomas. i know some of you like the URD better, but i was curious if this one would be much different then the older 7th injection. not that i would know the difference because it will be my first one. anyone have any idea?

i will let you know for sure once i get my truck on thursday. i believe that is why i have to wait for the 7th injector to come in. it's because they have one for the 2003 and up. something like that.

I believe it is a change for the new model ecu's. i may be wrong though. I still highly reccomend the URD over the TRD route. I know several people with the 7th injector that now want to ditch it and buy URD. I own the URD kit and it rocks. I can not say enough good things about it.

All that's different in the new kit is a different Ecu and the stainless steel braided fuel line has been replaced with a shorter hose with banjo bolts are on both sides so there is no connection loss. Thats what I was told when I was talking to the guy installing my kit on Saturday

I have heard some people pass smog with the URD kit, however, it should technically fail a visual inspection -- so it really depends how thourough the technician is at the time.

Nothing in the urd kit that i own is in plain visual site, the FTC is sitting behind my gauge cluster, more torwads the ac ducts though, even if for some reason you failed cause your motor was putting out to much crap, just take your map and lean it out, and you will pass. I go up for smog in June, but will probably go earlier, easier to pass with less heat. i mean the high was 97 yesterday, so you can just imagine what the later summer months will be. Thats why i wont install my URD pulley that i got until i get some W/I
