Default TRD Supercharger (temperature) Question...

Hey folks. It's been a long while since I've posted anything but have a question for those with the TRD supercharger, living in cold weather areas... What's the minimum safe temperature you can spin these blowers over at? My S-Runner has been stored for several years now with 22K on the odometer, but I recently bought a mountain house, and want to use the S-Runner up there (but not in ice or snow). Just wondering if it'll damage the blower case or rotors to start it up at low temps... it sometimes gets down to the single digit temps at night.
Any experience with this? Thanks!

main thing i would worry about is the lube inside the nose not flowing sufficiently at lower temps and causing premature bearing wear. I would look into that maybe?

Good point about the fluid. I live in NJ and we had several cold mornings that I had to start the truck up. Never noticed any problems

I live in Montana where it will get down to around
-17F sometimes & single digits are very common & I haven't had any problems with my TRD supercharger.

I forgot to mention that the elevation here is 3,200 feet above sea level.

Thanks guys. I think I'll change all the fluids (including the blower lube) and give it a try. Need to get some new tires on it too... Still has the original ones from new! Plenty of tread left, but I think they're square from sitting.

No problems here at 7800' above sea level and 12 F or lower on temps no issues. It was 28 today and i sea-foamed the motor no issues.

I installed my S\C in 12 degrees ans 2' of snow! And the nose cone fluid need a change and servicing every 100k miles so i wouldn't worry to much!

It will run fine, just be sure to use the stock 180 thermostat so the engine and supercharger warms up properly.

Thatīs not a very good idea. You could be causing premature wear. Modern engines donīt need to warm up before you drive, you can drive at low rpms before the engine and oil warms up to prevent engine wear.
