My bike uses the same H4 bulbs as our tacos so I can refer to CT for advice . I don't want to do a projector type headlight housing mod, just a bi-xenon conversion kit. Does anyone recommend any kits? I found one Bi-Xenon AC conversion kit by VVME with a 2 year warranty for $75 and ships from a CA warehouse. It appears to have the same components as the rest of the kits out there. It comes with all of the wiring, the ballasts, a relay etc. I'm just not familiar with the Bi-Xenon conversion kits to know what's good and what's bad. What's the difference between an AC conversion kit versus a DC conversion kit for our vehicles which have a DC source?

You gotta go to a forum for your bike man. Someone else has done what you want to do. I wouldn't rely on CT for much information unless they've actually installed it on a bike with pictures and all that jazz.
Bixenon hid's suck on bikes while cornering..
Your blind till your upright unless you hit the highs..
That's the way it is right now. I have to run the highbeams when im cornering. I don't see how they will be any worse except brighter? How else can they be different?

They are the same exact kits as would be used for our trucks, and since there are a lot of guys here that have done conversions maybe someone will have some advice

I'm really just asking about the quality of ac bi-xenon conversion kits for H4 bulbs? What are the main differences as compared to the projector HID's?

Bi-xenon IS a projection HID. You have a flapper sheild that blocks the light for low beams, for highs, the flapper sheild drops down.
I did a retro on a 2010 yamr6 where it used 2 bi-xenon projectors on both sides and worked out decent.
The projectors lense came pretty close to the headlights lense, but it all worked out, used a regular car h4 harness.
2 morimoto mini h1 projectors in the housings.

Its a 02 Kawasaki ZX-7R. I dont have pics of the headlights. Why are the mini projectors needed in the housings? Don't the bulbs just fit into the headlight housing as is?

H1's are the style of hid bulb the projector uses, these are also a smaller projector that just barely fit the housings (1/4" from lense)
If your just going to use a plug n play h4 style hid bulb without a bi-xenon projector, it'll fit with no problem as long as you dont mind being high beamed because of a scattered light pattern.

Do the retrofitted projectors cut down on glare? Is that the main reason for them? So your saying that even with a hi/low xenon bulb, ill still get flashed? Thanks for the info Chris. I will check out the website.

You basically get next to no glare with a focused projector..
If your just poppin a bulb in there, cop magnet..
Dont go any lower than 4300k and no higher than 6000k if you want a useable light output.
Those high/low pop out hid bulbs are junk and dont last long.
