AC control knobs
I searched the site and couldn't find any info ...
this might seem kind of odd, but is there anyone that has moved the control knobs to a different location for 01-04. pics would be helpful, Thanks. Is it just cutting and extending the wires, or is it more complicated than it seems

The subject came up a long time ago, but I don't recall anyone actually attempting it. ... Or if they attempted it they didn't report back on how it went.
In theory, the '01 - '04 climate control panel can be relocated, because the connections are electrical rather than cable-driven. However, the climate control panel includes a control unit behind the dash, and this adds a lot of depth to the equipment that has to be relocated (if it's all done in the one original piece).
