Removed bellhousing bracket bolts for the dust shield, loosened the ones on the motor so i could Jiggle the brackets. got the last 4 bolts off (the 2 on the driver side can suck it

) a speed wrench would have been handy on those...instead i used a normal 'old wrench.
got the oil pan off after about 5 minutes of tapping the front with a flathead screwdriver and hammer. got a little nick on the block but i think it will be ok.
used a razor blade, scotch bright pad, wire brush, and some brake cleaner after that to get it looking fresh. tapped a brass fitting later and put "the right stuff" around the outside of the brass fitting (and in the threads a lil) and resealed up the oil pan. wasn't too bad (cept for the socket falling in my eye while tightening

)
if this leaks i will freak the hell out.
