Question Sagging or Lower Rear Passenger Side

Basically, I'm refering to the passenger side rear bed corner or bed side. I remember reading one post from a CT member with an '01 SR who described a very similar problem as the one I'm having. At this point I'm thinking the suspects are the leaf springs but I wanted to see if someone has a proven solution.

Thanks!

Mine leans to the passenger side towards the back, too.

May not be related, but one of my wheels (can't remember, I'll check later) is about 1cm "outward" from the other. not enough to notice unless you're looking for it.

Any suspension mods? If so - what are they?

Are the shocks original?

Zero suspension mods as of now but will be changing in the next month or two. In contact with Beefed Taco about getting some of his 3" lowering blocks which is why I would like to diagnose the problem and see if I need different size blocks. Same Tokico blues with no real issues for now. I wonder if any of the 01-04 4cyl. X-cab 2WD 5-lug guys are having a similar problem.

Sounds like the thrust line is off centered. Did you notice anything unusual when you looked at the leaf springs or hardware?

time to swap the leafs from one side to the other..

either that or have beefed make some custom blocks to ward off the lean..

get some measurments, how far off are we talking?
have you ever loaded your bed to the point you were on your bump stops?

Tried to PM you but you have pm's disabled (didn't want to thread jack).

Anyway, in my truck the rear is on 4" blocks and carrier bearing flipped. Nothing seems unusual but I wouldn't know what to look for

That's what I was thinking. It's gotta be the leafs right? The only reason I can think of is the amount torque applied with an open diff. Thus, the passenger side of leafs would fatigue quicker.

Magical Beefed blocks in the works as we speak.

Yes, the truck was used to haul trunks full of lighting gear so I do have marks on the bump stops.

No worries about the thread jack and sorry about the PM settings.

I'm not an expert on thrust line but basically a rear axle aligned perfectly with the drive shaft would form a "T". So your axle would be the top part of the T and drive shaft would be the middle line. If your tires are wearing good and you're not hearing any unusual noises you should be good. Did you have any differential work done to the truck?

LSD was put in about 6months after I bought it. I never payed enough attention before that to notice them being off This was over 7 years ago and everything is wearing normally
