Yeah the top fits okay. The top of the core actually sits a little lower than stock. I had a lot of room to play, I could have lowered it much more but it would have been hard to get a radiator cap on, wanted the neck to sit above the core support.

Re: New Aluminum Radiator Install
Looks really good in there!
BTW, I slanted my coilpacks back a little bit so it cleared the intake tube better, since it exits so close to the plug wires.
Man I miss my turbo, that thing was a monster. Even with a V8 I still really miss it, cant wait to have a V8 AND turbo..then the monster will be back.

I will look into slanting the coil packs. Here are some more pics...I finished the wiring for the fan thermostat and filled her up, runs great!! I am not running a relay, simple setup.
I put the fan thermostat in the inlet hose using a manifold that was tapped. It works well.
Battery -> Fusible Link -> T-stat
Fan motor (-) back to battery (-) / Gnd. [Red 10ga wire]
T-stat -> Fan (+) and Fan (-) to battery (-) [ Two wires you see there ]

Re: New Aluminum Radiator Install
Run a relay or you will burn up your thermostat from the load, especially during fan startup, Trust me, it will eventually burn up if the thermostat isnt designed to handle the amperage load (the only ones that are have an integrated relay built in for this reason)
Careful or the thermostat might fail (and certainly will without a power relay), the fan will stop, and the truck could overheat quickly if your not watching your gauge, which we arent 100% of the time, bad things could occur.
ADD A RELAY, or you will be sorry, and if your thermostat has one built in disregard, I just couldnt see the thermostat so I dont know what your using.
Just lookin out, I dont want to see something get damaged that could be prevented. It looks really nice though, I really gotta do that to mine, would like to have a more efficient radiator with my motor especially when it goes turbo, that really gonna send some heat into the motor...
