Because McKeever posted in my old thread "Big n' littles" a pic of his drag pack 15x10's with the 7.5" bs and they did not look to be sticking out. Also, I have spent enough time under the rear looking at different widths and bs that I do believe they would not stick out.
Mine do not stick out now (but only because of the flares

).

The way I measured, the standard 15x8 with 5.5" bs should not stick out.

X^2 ....correct 15x8 w/ 5.5 bs will tuck! I'm running weld 15x8's w/ 5.5 bs. I have a bigger tire on there...nitto 275/50/15's drag radials for some traction for everyday driving. lol
