Right now I'm focused on getting a retrofit for HIDs and figuring something out with the stereo. The sound SUCKS but everyone says it's the radio not having enough power. Swapping for aftermarket makes it all better.

you should read this article if you think you will "trash" your warranty just because you put aftermarket parts on your vehicle.

it's your vehicle, if you WANT to change something, then change it, they cant void JUST BECAUSE you changed out their parts for yours. They have to prove that your after market parts are the root cause of the failure if a failure occurs.

I hear ya, but it's not like people buy WRX's to drive their grandmother to bingo. They will attempt to deny your warranty if they find any proof of abuse.

Nice WRX. I had an 06 and it was a blast to drive. So now that you have one your gonna spend countless hours on NASIOC arguing over which oil is better.

Man, that place is TOO big. There is so much info and it's not even organized well. All people say is to search or look for the DIY's, and they're all dated back to 02.

265 on wrx, 305 on sti. I'm slowly delving into the knowledge of how to get more power out of the engine. I could unlock a few ponies with the accessport cobb tuning makes. @ $600 the price really isn't that bad that allows you to reflash the factory ECU, and turn it back to stock if you wanted to.

My girls sis's bf has an 09 with a few parts from Perrin and we ran em when I was at 5.8psi (you mite have seen it)
I'm coming back this year for him @ 15psi..

Actually, Subaru of America has honored warranties for failed ring lands on heavily modded STIs so they are more understanding of tuner culture than other brands are. Still, it would likely have to be a common failure point on the car for them to overlook the mods.
