Default sitting crooked

Would different kinds/makes/models of shock mess up the front ride height? One side of my truck has a tokico blue and the other is some yellow shock with the fork pulled all the way up and a bunch of spacers installed to take up the slack. Ive noticed the drive-side sits lower than passenger side What to do???

(1) Exactly what sort of Tacoma do you have?

(2) It is common and normal for the driver side to sit slightly lower than the passenger side, because most of the weight (battery; fuel tank; driver; etc.) is on that side. We call it 'The Taco Lean'.

(3) However ... The fact you have mismatched front shocks might mean this is not just a case of the usual Taco Lean.

I'm not sure what you've got there. The presence of the spacers would make me suspect the yellow one is obviously the non-stock one.

However ... Toyota didn't use factory Tokicos until the 2001 model year (and then only on TRD Double Cabs and S-Runners). So the blue Tokico is definitely not OEM / factory.

Most of our generation Tacos have the lean. I had to trim a small amount from my drop spring on the passenger side to compensate. Also had to run a 1/2" larger block in the rear for the higher side. She sits nice and level now.

I finally got it fixed!!! for the front I added a 1.75" rubber Coil Spring Spacer and in the rear removed the 1" bloack I had stacked on the 3" block. Sit nice and even now, and rides a hell of a lot better too ;-)
