scan gauge 2 vs ultra gauge

I've read reviews online and pros/cons about both of them.

anyone try out the ultra gauge ?

They pretty much do the same things. I don't think i can justify spending almost 100 dollars more for the scan gauge for it's sleeker design


it's a shame i didn't get in on the GB when it happened way back when :

try looking into a blutooth obd2 adapter on ebay and if you got a smart phone download an app called torque i use it now, and its so nice i can display any gauge on multiple screens, and can clear codes.

I run the SGII but I would not mind trying that Ultra gauge in one of the Hondas. I like to have numbers rather than orange needles.

03 - Interesting first time hearing of something like this.


Chris- It is mainly for trouble shooting codes. I drive like a grandma, so i wouldn't need to know my average MPH. Probably wouldn't be using any of the other features either. But who knows, it's a possibility that i might

2 yrs running i popped a code before my smog was due : This just saves me the headache of trying to find someone with a diagnostic tool, Thanks to Sparky, he was able to help me out last year

i have the scan gauge now i basicly have no use for it, im telling you if you own an android phone or tablet there is an app called torque for 5 bucks, then you need a blutooth adapter you can find them on ebay for like 20 bucks, it sends obd2 data to your phone or tablet wireless, its so nice, no wires, you can make it display anything you want.

it basicly turns your phone in to a wireless scangauge but better if you want pics let me know ill take a couple for you
