Default Thinking about this (new to me) head-unit... need recomendations

I'm thinking about putting this head-unit in. I know it's an older unit but I'm on a student budget here. Pioneer avh-p3300bt.

One of the reasons I'm thinking about this one is so that I can also put in a back up camera and feed the video through the screen.

Cons:
-I've heard that the radio presets are kind of a pain to use though, no individual buttons and you have to scroll through the entire list (and the buttons are small).
I'd like to stay within this price range.
-I've also not found any info on whether it's Android compatible.

Any other suggestions are appreciated!
Happy Holidays everyone.

If you have a sub and listen to different types of music, pioneers suck for an on the fly adjustment.. I just learned this recently and ended up back with alpine.
If you have an amp that has a rotary gain knob, this is not an issue.

Pioneers sound is top notch for the most part, but the programming layout/ergonomics sucks..
Stay away any of that mixtrax garbage, its way too bright at the dimmest setting

If you can afford an alpine than go for it, not much will beat it.. Pioneer is great for a tight budget. Once you get use to the settings its as easy to EQ each song as it is shifting gears, as long as your pretty savvy with what exactly the settings do. I record, produce and mix bands, so maybe mixing my stereo on the fly just comes more easily to me than your average listener? Idk.. But for the budget minded, thats a good head

If you.have to do anything more than 2 button pushes while driving, its pretty unsafe.
team sleep, go to your local stereo shop and play with the pioneer, its junk for layouts.
Just to adjust the gain on my subs, I had a total of 7 button combos till I could adjust it..
Its not on the fly friendly.

I.say go play with stereos at stores to get a feel for.it first..

A student budget never included a backup camera or a touch screen DVD, other priorities were my focus.

I've been saving up a bit... and I'm a grad student (GRA in EE), so I'm not totally starving. But I do have to be careful/ budget-minded.
The back-up camera came in to play because I almost ran over a kid while backing up out of a parking lot... scared the crap out of me. Didn't see the little snot when he ran behind me. Good thing he didn't stop...
I decided to not do the camera/ screen/ rear-view mirror combo... looks cheap and I've read not good things.

As far as checking them out in stores, I've not found any with this model in my area. Since it's an older unit...

Thanks for the feedback so far though.

I don't like how you can't turn the low pass off at the deck in case you want to use the one on the amp instead or the one on the amp can't be turned off so you don't double up the filters. Pioneer used to have the option to turn the frequency off but still use the sub out. Alpine still gives you that option. Pioneer seems to be made in China now too or some of them. Not being made there gave Pioneer the upper hand but i guess not anymore.
