2006 Toyota Tacoma - Overpriced?

I found a seller letting go of a 4-door 4x4 TRD manual Tacoma w\ 197k for $7000. It seems to be a good deal but I wanted to run it by you guys. The miles are very high IMO but I hear these trucks last.

He claims new tires and "no problems" or leaks besides an ABS light and occasional CEL (which I can read both with my Techstream). I am prepared to do a clutch and\or suspension work in the future if need be.

def not overpriced...i just did a quick edmunds appraisal and it says in the neighborhood of 11k-12k...i wouldnt jump on it unless you get it checked out by a reputable mechanic (unless you know what you are looking at)...too good to be true...more than likely is...but if all checks out then id jump on it if it were me, im looking for something just like it, lol

Thanks. I take Edmunds\KBB values with a grain of salt. I've been noticing a huge price swing in these trucks depending on mileage, condition, and how desperate either the buyer or the seller is. I've seen the 4x4s go from as high as $17000 (~100k miles) all the way down to $7000.

It's just amazing that a truck with that many miles would go for that much in the market. By the time I got off work it was sold. It took 2 days to sell judging by when the ad was put up. A another 2006 auto 4door 2wd w\ 106k sold for $8500 within an hour of putting the ad up. Back to Craigslist .
