Shifter issues
I have a 2000 2rz 2wd tacoma. The shifter doesn't want to go to fifth, and it also seems to twist when you attempt to go toward fifth or reverse, almost as though the shifter is spinning freely. I do not understand what the issue is, and I would really like to have this fixed as this is my daily driver. I replaced the shifter bushing attached to the end of the shifter, and it appears as if something is missing down in there. If anyone has any information to help me with this, or any questions that could lead to someone legitimately saving me. This would be much appreciated.

Can you post a photo of the scene underneath the shifter boot, so we can try and figure out what might be missing?
