Interested to find out what you end up getting. I am finally getting all my turbo stuff together and my clutch is starting to slip... 286k miles on the original clutch though. Not too shabby I think.

I have a feeling its the release fork or throwout bearing. Clutch wasn't slipping at all before it broke. I'll drop the trans and find out before i spend big bucks on a new clutch kit.

If i do need a new clutch, i would go with a Competition Clutch stage III 6 puck sprung.

I have the competition stage4 with a LCE light flywheel and I absolutely HATE the chatter. Its not that bad and you can rev to compensate for it but its soo damn annoying. It does grab like a mother****er and Ive abused it quite a bit. I love it for aggressive driving although I drive it like a grandma lately. I wish I went with a full disk like URD's stage 3.
Realistically, people(like myself) usually overdo it on clutch purchases. If you dont plan on upping the boost and making around 400tq with plenty of launches, I would say try to stay with a full disc instead of a six puck.
Maybe its not that bad with a regular flywheel.

I think its the flywheel making it seem too "chattery". I had a six puck in my bone stock 93 paseo, it is was perfect. I currently have the CC stage 5, 4 puck, sprung and its chattery, yes, but not if you engage it properly. Like I said before, the break in was the worst, mainly because I was still learning how to drive with a clutch that has a 300% increase in torque capacity. After that time period I have been all smiles, no slipping to worry about and unless I break the 450 HP/torque mark then I probably wont need a new clutch for a VERY long time.
