Just living and working. My truck has turned into a shuttle. It just shuttles me and my mountain bike to the trails.

I've turned into a semi health/workout guy now. Been running, biking, and sometimes doing the Crossfit thing. It's been awhile since I've been in this kind of shape.

My little ones keep me busy too. They drive me nuts, make me laugh, make me stressed, but I love em with all my heart.

All in all I love it here. The Big Island is my home. I've traveled all around the world when I was younger and this place is by far the most beautiful and cleanest place to live. Everywhere else is just a nice place to visit. Hawaii is a place you can call home.

But you gotta do what you gotta do. Where are you thinking about moving to?

yup I'm just testing the waters. I'm not 100% sure I want to sell it, but for the right price I'll let it go.

I talked and met with your good buddy Mr. Beals.

He seemed sorta interested in the truck, but he mentioned that it might be too high for his kids/wife. I don't blame him. That's pretty much the same reason I want to sell it.

Yank the body lift, down grade the rim and tire package to 33's and presto! New truck to fit your needs!

I did the math in my head, and if someone was looking for a Gen1 Tundra to lift, buying yours at your asking price would be much more economical than buying a clean stock one (going price is around what, 21 - 23 K?) and dumping a boatload of cash to upgrade suspension, wheels, and tires.

^^^Now that is a clean looking Tundra. Just the right amount of lift and bling. That's exactly what I should do to my truck.

Crazy man. Now that I'm older and my priorities have changed, I wish I never lifted my truck this high. I really don't want to spend another penny on my truck. So even buying 33s and smaller rims is out of the question.

BUT if I do end of keeping this truck, then yes, the body lift will be removed. That would make a huge change. 33's and 18's would probably soon follow. The truck itself runs perfectly fine. I just cracked 33,500 miles yesterday. So it has a ton of life left on the motor.

I hear you about priorities changing. I do still get Tundra envy when I pass a lifted Gen1 though

I'm sure you could offset a big chunk $ by selling the rims and tires you have now. Just gotta rock the stocks for little while. That's what I'd do, especially if it's already pau pay for. Keep the truck, drop it down, call it a day.

Saw it posted up again. What are you planning on getting next after the Tundra goes? I talked to your friend Brent and he recently downgraded from his gen1 dub cab Tundra as well.
