not tryin to be nitpicky i swear...just tryin to narrow it down, and see if we can figure this out
it could go as far as other suspension/steering components like ball joints and tie rods when it comes to the steering issue you mentioned...last time those were changed?
im lowered almost 6 inches in the front with stock ball joints/tierods on 18 inch wheels and some what low pro tires and my steering has great center return...
but in all all honestly a stiff ride is pretty normal when lowering any vehicle, because you no longer have the same suspension travel as before, so by theory you cannot have the same ride quality.
to me, the stiffer the better
