Buyer/Seller Feedback?

Is there, or is there a need for a Buyer/Seller feedback thread? I'm on a couple diesel and offroad forums and they have feedback threads. I find them helpful when looking at purchasing, and thought others might too. I've bought parts off a couple guys on here and would love to be able to recommend them for future transactions! Thoughts?

not enough traffic on this site to even need it. even in the site's heyday it wasn't really needed, 99% of sales were smooth and hassle free.

There's always the possibility of posting feedback in the sale thread itself (something very few buyers ever got around to doing).

In the very early days CT's original owner Jeff experimented with a rating / recommendation feature (not limited to sales transactions). Before too long people were either ignoring or gaming the recommendations, so the feature was discontinued.

That was the problem there. It works on other forums, just not dysfunctional CT

Yeah - that was the general impression I got. If I recall correctly, the rating / recommendation system had come and gone (or at least been disabled) before I ever joined CT, so I only know about it from comments posted back when ...
