The general grabber A/T 2 has a similar tread pattern to the the BFG's and are about $50 or so cheaper.

I have the Goodyear Duratracs and love them so far but theyre more of a cross between a M/T and an A/T

Had the BFG A/T on my Ranger - good tires, noisy, not so good in the wet.
Have Toyo A/T on Tacoma - very good, quieter, great in the wet, still very good traction off road. I'm starting to believe that for much off road driving I dont see need for knobby tires - except macho looks!

Hankook Dynapro ATM's, one of the best all terrain tires I have ever ran. Have had BFG AT's in the past, but will never buy again. The Hankooks also have a 50K warranty. Check em out.

Bridgestone Dueler Revo2. Awesome tires! Great all around tire.

I just threw some BFG's on my 2006 extended cab. Stock tires lasted about 45,000 miles. I've heard good things about the BFG's though so hoping to get at least 50,000. Stock came with the Bridgestone Duellers.

Don't have any recommendations for alternative tires though

I'm extremely surprised no one has said Goodyear Duratracs yet.
