i don't have much experience with the toyos but i do no a couple of buddies of mine that have the extreme at's on there trucks. they do pretty decent in the mud for an AT because there so aggressive which makes them clean out real easily. i've seen people getting 40 thousand+ miles out of these tires on full size rigs. if you get the ten ply version you may be able to get as much as 55+ on a tacoma because there much lighter

ordered a set of 285/75/16 toyos.Hopefully they dont kill my mpg and power too badly. I know a guy who owns a diesel shop so he got me a deal on the tires. $720 for all 4 mounted and balanced. Pretty good deal in my book!

I have the toyo's and have put 30,000 miles on them. They have about half the tread left. So I don't think 60,000 is out of the question with rotation on a normal basis. They have been great tires for me. The cut my mpg by about 2 to 3 mpg over the stock tires. Good choice on the tire though

well i currently have 265/75/16 bfg mud terrains. So i figure the with the size and agressiveness differences, I should break about even as far as mpg

Cool. Please post some pics after the installation, and if you can, some offroading!.

Ohh, and don't forget to report your "new millage" after a couple of tanks.
