anyone know if you need to drop the skid plate? kinda lazy to look underneath after working all day...

My 07 X runner and TACO TRD uses just a 14 mm bolt for the drain and thats it. U DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE SKIDPLATE

but it makes one hell of a mess:brickknoc
Get plastic painters tarp from Walmart and lay it under the drain bolt so that it channels the oil into your bucket.

ya cuz it sucks when you're done draining and look back and there is oil dripping from the rear end of your skid plate a few feet back:runaway:

just drain it in the gutter, fish love it..
They float to the top because they cant get enough o that oil;)
