This may not be the correct area of the forum for my question but I was just wondering what SR5 means...I appreciate if someone can answer. Thank you in advance.

Thanks, dude! By the way, my mom's from Aloha State as well. Mililani Town, Oahu to be exact. Never been to the big island, though. Must be nice...

The Big Island is beautiful:waytogo: Lots more places to explore and it is one of the more greener islands.

This is a pic I took of Waipio Valley before I went down into it.

Pretty sure the "5" has something to do with the 5-speed tranny. not sure about the "SR" though.

The SST trim package was offered in the Southeast sales region on certain 2WD Tacomas (apparently only Regular Cabs). Besides the decals, it consisted of:

- Enkei alloy wheels
- A 4X4 grille (up through 2000 model year).

The package was offered at least as early as 1999 and at least as late as 2003.
