I want to get a set of cheaprims for the x runner. I will be using them to purchasesome nice autocross tires, I want to go like 16"s because the price of the tires are way cheaper. I do have my stock rims but the tire Im looking at will run me 300 each basically but in 16"s they are only like 150. please let me know.

for autocross you want to keep the same size rim. You can run a 15" with the stock brakes (not TRD) but why would you? You will loose handling capabilities.

i only want smaller rims for the smaller price for tires. I really am not sold on one tire vs the other. just looking for something that I can get max grip. My kdw are great just I know there are tires with more grip out there like dot approved slicks. I guess I could run the stockers they are just 300 per tire.

I'm running 15" Camry steelies in the winter, so I know those fit...

hmmm. Might enter into a burn out contest this coming weekend and looking at some 16s to burn up.
