I wanna get a tacoma the question is what year. If anyone knows of good body kits for theses years let me know 97-00 or 01-02. I am looking to get 98 or 99 but not sure. I've driven a 02 and I loved it, but with school, insurance, credit card, etc. I can only pay up to $300 a month. I want something kind of new but still I could afford it heres my price range 5,000- 11,000. Thanks in advance for who ever can help me with this.

I could be wrong, but the S-Runner body kit should fit earlier models, extended cab only. And there has been a drift kit on ebay for single cab trucks of ealier years for about $500. Hope that helped http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

I have to agree with Keith, but if you insist, go with the SRunner kit on an ext. cab.

i agree too...but im getting the 4runner conversion...but if you want some kits i think theres only two different ones....the blitz kit and the srteetweapons kit...and you can custom aything too..s-runners are hella tight....

Yeah i thought about and I looked at those kits and they really dont fit with the truck, but if I do get one it would be a srunner kit. I really like the front end of 01-current tacomas. Has anyone on here ever swapped front ends on a 98 or 99 to 01? If so how much was it to get the front end change to a 01? How much do you think a 99 single cab tacoma cost with 40,000 to 60,000 miles on it. What about a ext cab? I'm trying to stay with in a budget of up to $10,000 to get my truck. My brother in-law works for my local toyota dealership and he said he could get a good deal for me. I just want to know what to expect price wise and what other people paid for theres.
