i posted this in the wrong section last time. Injen will be coming out with a CAI for the 2001 2.4 litre this spring (i called them). It is suppose to give more hp than the other intake. i asked them if it would fit a 2.7, they said no.... I went to toyota to compare engines and they are setup almost identical, it seems. when the CAI comes out i'm going to order it and give it a try. let me know what everyone thinks of this, and i'll keep lookin to see when it will actually be available.

if you do some research when it comes out u can prob get it for under 200.
whats the difference between the regular injen intake and the race division intake your talking about? if injen says it won't fit, it won't fit, they don't bs their customers

the race division is a cai, the others that are out right now are just short ram intakes. injen also said that the air intake they have for the 2.4 doesn't the 2.7. they are wrong, it does fit. i have a feeling this one will too.. we will have to see. go compare the engines, the structure is almost identical!
i have the 2.4 2001 model intake, i know my intake is curved over the valve cover to clear the new direct ignition plugs. How much it curves upward i dont know but you have to remember our hood bulges up a bit too.
