XBOX 360 Problems !!!HELP!!!

i had my 360 for since june, worked well at first, then about 3 days ago, i turned on the 360, at about 2-5 mins into game play it would freeze. i would reset the 360 and it kept doing it. this morning i woke up, i turned it on, after about 2 seconds the light would start blinking red. this ever happen to anybody?

oh yah also tried putiing in the disk cleaner and it wouldn't start.

What's the warrenty on them, a year?

I'd take it into the shop where you bought it and have them worry about it.

Microsoft just sent out the email, extending the warranty to one year with repairs free of change. just contact them and send it back. or do what my buddy did, go to best buy, buy another one, swap it in the box and return it.

Seriously though, just take it back for warranty... No harm done... Well, actually if you're still in school, then you've just wasted a LOT of long weekends :evil:

Funny story. A while ago I bought a CD player at Best Buy and had problems withing the first month but didn't have my reciept.

The lady at the counter said she couldn't help me and all that.

I say to her, "OK, then I'll just go buy another one, and return this one with that reciept.

She gave me a puzzled look and said they could take a look at it:waytogo:

When you buy a 360 does it include a warrenty registration card? How do you register your 360??

I think there was a card? or I did it when I first logged on to Xbox live i cant remember :shrug:

Don't send it in quite yet. There's been a plethora of people having the red ring lately since MS pushed out the latest big update for the 360. Look on xbox-scene in the forum for a fix to the problem. It'll save you from having to send it in.
