OK im goinon the 25th to represent the tacos ...anyone ele down???? They are only racing on the 25th saturday.......not suday this time......so who is in for the races saturday.....????? Imgonna see if i can get my truck to run better then palmdale....we will see...truck is cutting out many times in the 1/4 mile..im gonna be tuning and see but ill be their for sure.....

Great MPH but tires sucked....10psi

Then truck started dieing off top end.....
This run was drag radials and 10PSI(look at the low MPH top end trouble....

Here's my best run:
This run was made using Jerry's 6:1 kit on my stock 15s in the rear and 18s up front. As you can tell from the 60ft. time its not hooking up off the line. Also having a auto tranny doesn't help either. Time to invest on some drag radials!!!!

Those are some good times jerry and dx-r, wish I was there to represent. But looking at those times makes me kinda nervous, don't want to be embarrassed with my slow ass truck. Its also a stock raised truck now, selling my 18" for $700 if anyone interested there konig imagines 7 1/2 up front 8 1/2 in the rears 50% of tread life left on the tires. Aye, jerry are you still using your stock injectors???

stock injectors bro but soon soon ill get my new ones back in.....workin on some stuff to get my times way down......traction is one of them.....but im happy i broke one of my goals was the 100 MPH mark....now 13's is next......then time for some new goals....man turbotaco dont talk like that your sh it is fast bro im the nervous one....you hauled ass in palmdale so fontana you should run 3 tenths faster then me...cuz you ran 3 tenths faster in palmdale.....well show to next fontana and we can all grudge.....it was fun.....

From your experiance with the different fmu kits.... Do you think that my 10:1 may be too much? Should i run without it or get a 4:1 or 6:1?

how much boost you runnin??? Any how i think that the 4:1 is the best one.....he ran his best with the 6:1 and i think he is gonna go with the 4:! ...have you looked at your air/fuel ratios??? im pretty sure rich is good but too rich will hurt....try the 4:1 i think i will be best....

On day to day driving I'm running @ 8lbs, at the track more @ 11-12psi...
What will it harm if i run 10:1 for too long? I would guess the fuel pump may go out, while pumping and trying keep up. And it may burn out the o2 sensor. Am I right?? or wrong??
I have looked at my a/f ratio... right now its acting kinda funny. I have Digital gauges from www.DynoTune.org... (http://www.DynoTune.org...) at idle and cruise it's at .000 or -.170 (thats right negative) and at WOT it's at .900 range. If I reset the ecu it's around .200 to .500 at cruise and idle.
.600mv------14.6:1 Dangerously lean
.700mv------14.5:1 Getting Lean
.800mv------14.2:1 Max power (Lean) normally aspirated
.875mv------13.5:1 Max power normally aspirated
.900mv------13.2:1 Max power (Rich) (NOS, Blower, Turbo)
1.000v-------12.5:1 Very rich
DynoTune.org, "This will allow you to tune for wide open throttle or cruise. You can use it to tune for cruise as well but it takes some practice reading the display. With a perfect 14.7 to 1 A/F ratio the display will cycle up and down example Case #1 “ .800 .300 .750 .250 .850 .200 etc…”
This is the perfect example of the perfect ratio. Now if you see this “ .900 .750 .800 .700 .900 etc….” this would tell you your running rich during cruise. If you see it run on the other end as follows “.300 .250 .400 .500 .375 etc….” Your running lean during cruise. You make adjustments to jets or fuel pressure to make sure the display cycles as in case #1.
Running wide open throttle should result in readings as follows “.900 .905 .908 .910 .911 .911 etc…” it should be very stable! No jumping around, rock solid…."

With the 6:1 kit the truck felt like it pulls harder. Also with the 10:1 i noticed on some runs the turbo would max out at 7psi. with the 6:1 it stayed dead on at 10-11psi.
I just ordered the 4:1 kit and will report back if it makes a difference.

well just to inform from my performace testing i produce better power if my truck hits 11.5 at WOT.....pulls harder that way.....i know its rich but thats good...do you have a EGT guage??? how bout some of those numbers...im gonna hook mine up this weekend......true reader to see what is melting...i just tested my copmpression yesterday and suprisingly after 170000 miles and hard miles ill add i have 180...180...183...176... beautiful...so now it is time to tune more but im gonna run on the dyno...

Idle and cruise: 550deg.Celsius or 1022deg.F
WOT: 850-900 range or 1562+deg.F
At the track: I've seen temp as high as 1020deg Celsius. Dangerous!!!

yes, according to DynoTune.
Either the 255lph pump couldn't keep up or the 10:1 fmu dumped too much fuel into the cylinders causing it to hesitate and bog http://www.CustomTacos.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif .
