Does any one know if it's illegal to trim the license plate? All I wanted to do was trim a little off the bottom, not too much though.

I would think that if you could see all the needed info (numbers, letter, tags) then it should be fine. Of course there are some stupid laws out there so who knows.

If a cop wants to be a d!ck he can pull you over for that, my friend was pulled over on a way to a show last year for speeding and the cop noticed the plate had a vertical cut from a accident awhile ago anywho he got him with some stupid law. So try to avoid it if possible.
