I decided to go ahead and throw a Spintech Sportsman Street on my XR on saturday. I made a video comparing it to the stocker. As with any camera it doesnt sound quite the same as it does in person (theres more lows) but it'll give you the general Idea. It was memorial day weekend so I didnt do anything crazy (too many cops were out) Maybe on the next one :waytogo:
That XR sounds great I've never heard of Spintech til i got on this suite! Hopefully by monday i'll have my JBA headers on and run the exhaust without the cats with the flowmaster three-champer c what sounds like!!!!! :clapping: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2354467

Oh yeah forgot to note. There is little to no drone. Its very quiet when your not on it. Almost more quiet than my stocker.

i would say mine is louder than that, out and in car.........slightly more agressive, but the tone i like better on that spintech.

Yeah from my vague memory of your vids, yours was a bit louder. I have a vid i'll post at some point of an outside shot. Its actually pretty damn loud outside. You can still hear me about a block away. (although I will admit it was in a semi quiet area)
Its the Sportsman Street (regular not XL) They also have the ProStreet which is like a tiny little 12" muffler, I would think it would be completely and utterly obnoxious and farty.

I think the regular is fine, just dont get the pro street. Its not that loud honestly. The XL might be too quiet.

Man I wish I had a cruise interior like that... Since 500 miles I have to use the radio to drown out most noises... Still do :( Including the kick ass stocker sound...
That Spintech sounds crazy deep... I remember hearing the Flowmaster in person on GreenEyeDevil's truck and didn't notice too much difference but knew it wasn't stock...
I wonder how much difference yours would be in person... :thinking:
Either or, sick video and nice sound... The stocker for me thus far has been the loudest stocker I've ever owned tho...

lol, thats cause I didnt go over any bumps. Otherwise itd be Vroooom KLANG Vrooom KLANG KLANG. Although the dealer is supposed to fix that any day now (leaf springs)
As for the exhaust in person, its fairly close. Theres a little more low end resonance. Then again I guess it depends what speakers your listening to it on.

Sounds good but is it a straight through design or baffled? If it was going on a supercharged truck might want to consider straight through to reduce the backpressure. Sounds wicked good though. Reminds me of a G35 I test drove which was perfect. Good work on the vid
