Where did most of you learn your knowledge of suspension, engines, and other stuff. Books, friends or school? Since i know nothing, i was curiuos as to how everyone else learned.

I learned everything I know from watching friends do things and doing things for myself. I learned suspension [censored] from having a friend who has used my garage for the past four years now to lower, body drop, and air bag dozens of vehicles. Stereos I have really been into for almost ten years now, building an rebuilding. Engines are my low point when it comes to knowledge, I understand the basics and know what everything is and does, but that is about it.

I learned almost everything from reading on the internet and going to forums like this one.

I learned from doing it and got tired of paying people to do it for me. Most of the time you just take off the stock parts and replace with aftermarket parts. Except for welding and fabrication obviously.
