Anybody know what is the spark plug gap and plug torque spec for a 2005 Tacoma V6 4.0L? I just got 6 New Denso K20HR-U11 plugs ready to be installed.

why are you changing the plugs anyway? Theyre supposed to last 60K from the factory. Plus if theyre Denso Iridiums, you shouldnt gap them, it can hurt the iridium tip, just like platinum plugs. Just a little FYI if you didnt know...

You should always check the gap and adjust as needed to get it to spec prior to install. This applies to Iridium and Plat plugs also.

If you are damaging the center electrode when gapping YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!!!

Have to agree with Gadget on this... Even if it is pre-gapped, it is best to make sure the gaps is correct from the factory or stated as pre-gapped per Mr. Over the counter person.
